Both the Houses of Parliament were adjourned for the day today after Finance Minister Arun Jaitley presented the Union Budget for 2014-15.
The Lok Sabha was adjourned at 1315 hours after the Finance Minister made his over two hour long budget speech. Besides, he also presented Macro-Economic Framework, Medium Term Fiscal policy and Fiscal Policy strategy statement.

The Finance Minister also tabled a copy of the budget in the Rajya Sabha at 1.30 pm. Later, the Upper House was also adjourned for the day.
