Parleys on resolve Telangana crisis

In Andhra Pradesh, hectic political parleys are underway in the wake of en-masse resignations by most of the elected representatives across the party lines from the Telangana region. AIR correspondent reports parleys are taking place among the leaders of various parties especially over possibilities for united agitation for the statehood.The members of both the main parties, the Congress and Telugu Desam who resigned are not willing to take part in the united agitation as proposed by the Telangana Joint Action Committee and want to have separate activities at the grass-roots level.The Congress leaders from the region who resigned are holding a crucial meeting this evening in Hyderabad to discuss their future course of action while the TDP leaders have already taken out a Bus Yatra to explain people about the circumstances under which they resigned.Meanwhile, the Congress elected representatives from other two regions, Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra Pradesh held a meeting to review the situation. On the other hand, the ministers who resigned as members of the Assembly are not attending their work at the state secretariat.
