Both the Houses of Parliament have been adjourned till noon today over the coal block allocation issue. As soon as the Lok Sabha met, the BJP members rushed to the well shouting slogans demanding the Prime Minister's resignation. As the din continued, Speaker Meira Kumar adjourned the House for one hour.

In the Rajya Sabha also, the BJP members shouted slogans soon after it met for the day. Chairman Mohammed Hamid Ansari adjourned the House till noon as the din continued.Earlier, the two Houses condoled the death of those killed in yesterday's fire accident in Mudalipetti, near Sivakasi in Tamil Nadu.
