Both the Houses of Parliament have been adjourned till noon today over the issue of coal blocks allocation with the BJP members shouting slogans. The DMK members also raised slogans and displayed placards asking the Centre to stop training the Sri Lankan Army personnel in India.
In the Lok Sabha, as soon as the House met, the BJP members shouted slogans demanding the Prime Minister's resignation. Amidst noisy scenes, Speaker Meira Kumar adjourned the House till noon.
The same situation prevailed in the Rajya Sabha as well. Soon after Chairman Mohammed Hamid Ansari called for the first listed question, several DMK members trooped into the well of the House in support of their demand. The Chairman adjourned the House as the agitated members continued with their slogans.
