Both the Houses of Parliament have been adjourned till noon on Telangana, Tamil Fishermen and other ssues. As soon as the Lok Sabha met, Members belonging to Seemandhra region rushed into the well and raised slogans against the State's bifurcation.
The Congress Members from Seemandhra who were expelled from the Party were also present in the House. They also trooped into the well in support of United Andhra. Members from Tamil Nadu were also seen in the well, protesting on Tamil Fishermen issue. As the din continued, Speaker Meira Kumar adjourned the House for one hour.
In the Rajya Sabha, situation was no different. As soon as the House met for today's business, Members from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Left Parties rushed into the well, raising slogans and showing placards in support of their demands.
Andhra members raised slogans in favour of United Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu Members for release of Tamil Fishermen arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy. AIADMK Members protested consecutively for third day for allegedly naming their party members for trooping into the well last week.
Left Members showed placards and raised slogans for countrywide strike of Central government employees. Few Members from Treasury Bench were also on their feet raising slogans but it could not be heard in the din. Chairman Mohd. Hamid Ansari adjourned the House till noon as noisy scenes continued.
