Both the Houses of Parliament stand adjourned till noon today. The Lok Sabha was adjourned within seconds of its meeting amidst noisy scenes.

Speaker Meira Kumar adjourned the House when BJP members tried to rush into the well, shouting slogans on the coal blocks allocation issue.

The Rajya Sabha was also adjourned within minutes after it met for the day. The BJP members kept on shouting slogans, forcing Chairman Mohammed Hamid Ansari to adjourn the House for an hour.
