Both the Houses of Parliament have been adjourned till 2pm after re-assembling at 12 noon. Earlier both were adjourned till noon over the coal blocks allocation issue.
As soon as the Lok Sabha met for the day, the BJP members rushed into the well raising slogans demanding the Prime Minister's resignation. When the Speaker's appeal for order went unheeded, Ms. Meira Kumar adjourned the House till 12 noon.
In the Rajya Sabha, the BJP members continued to raise slogans against the Prime Minister on the same issue. Some DMK members tried to rush into the well of the House opposing the training of the Sri Lankan Army personnel in India. They displayed placards to which the Chairman, Mohammed Hamid Ansari objected. Following continued noisy scenes, he adjourned the House till noon.
