Both the Houses of Parliament have been adjourned till 2 PM today with the BJP members continuously pressing their demand for Prime Minister's resignation on coal blocks allocation. The Lok Sabha was adjourned first for one hour till Noon and then up to 2 PM after Dr. Manmohan Singh made a statement CAG report on allocation of coal blocks.

The Rajya Sabha also witnessed three adjournments on the same issue. Following noisy scenes, Deputy Chairman Prof. P J Kurien adjourned the House for half-an-hour till 1230 Hours. Later, as soon as the House re-assembled, Dr Singh made a similar statement in the House amidst slogan shouting by BJP members and then the House was adjourned till 2 PM.
