Paris agreement should enable access to climate related technologies at affordable price, says India ahead of Paris summit on climate change.<br/><br/>Urging parties to the conference India has stated that Paris outcome toenable countries to collaborate in development and large scale deployment of climate friendly technologies.<br/><br/>Tweeting through official twitter handle India@COP21, government has made it clear that Paris outcome must support adaptation and development to affordable technologies balancing intermittent supply of solar and wind energy.<br/><br/>India has submitted ambitious Intended Nationally Determined Contribution(INDC) to Paris conference and pledged to reduce carbon emissions by 33 to 35 percent of its GDP by 2030 from 2005 level.<br/><br/>India aims to reduce emission intensity by using solar and wins energy and would be harnessing latest technology for conventional energy production using coal and other fossil fuels.<br/><br/>India would be requiring 2.5 trillion US dollars from climate funds to implement the pledges mentioned in INDC by adapting new technologies and through mitigation plans.
