India's top cueist Pankaj Advani has stormed into the Final of the World Snooker Championship at Doha. Advani made it to the Gold medal match after he defeated Austrian Florian Nuble, 7-2 in the best-of-eleven semi-final last night. For the coveted yellow metal, Advani will face Iranian Amir Sarkhosh today. Sarkhosh beat his fellow countryman Ehsan Nezhad, 7-6 to reach the Final. After winning a Gold at the World Billiards short format and a Bronze in the World Billiards longer format, Advani is now a favorite to secure the top honours at the current snooker world event also. The 17-time world champion has earned a medal in every World Championship held in Doha this entire month.
