Both the Houses of Jammu and Kashmir Legislature today witnessed noisy scenes . As soon as the question hour of the Legislative Assembly began, ruling National Conference MLAs stood up from their chairs and protested against the allegation levelled by opposition Peoples Democratic members (PDP) against National Conference president Dr. Farooq Abdullah for alleged embezzlement of funds in Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association.The AIR correspondent reports that members from both the parties entered into a verbal duel and the uproarious scenes in the House continued for about half an hour. The Speaker had to ask Assembly watch and ward staff to take the independent MLA Er. Abdul Rashid out from the House when despite directions by the Speaker, he continued to create noisy scenes. In the Legislative Council too as soon as the House met in the morning, the National Conference members demanding action against the PDP Members for lavelling allegations against Dr. Farooq Abdullah. In view of subsequent verbal duel between NC and PDP members and the pandemonium, the Chairman had to adjourn the House for half an hour. When the House met again, the members again created uproar forcing the Chairman to adjourn the House for the day.
