In Haryana, a Panchkula court has refused to grant interim bail to former DGP SPS Rathore saying that the bail cannot be granted without examining the case file. Hearing an interim bail application filed by Rathore on Wednesday, the court issued notice to Haryana Government and asked them to file their reply by Friday, the next date of hearing. Apprehending arrest following fresh FIRs against him in Ruchika case, Rathore moved the session’s court for anticipatory bail but failed to get any immediate relief.<br/><br/>Rathore could be slapped with abetment to suicide charge soon. In New Delhi, Home Minister P Chidambaram discussed with Ruchika's family and lawyers the possibility of re-opening the 19-year-old case by adding abetment to suicide charge on Rathore.<br/>
