In Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir, Panchayat election in four blocks of Leh district has passed off peacefully. AIR Leh Correspondent reports that 75.3 percent of voters have cast their votes. The 2nd phase of Panchayat election in Leh district was concluded peacefully and the result of all the Halqa have declared on Monday evening. The maximum voters who exercised their right to franchise recorded at Diskit block with 82 percent. In this 2nd phase of Panchayat election, 18 posts of Sarpanches and 212 posts of Panches have already been declared uncontested elected. .
