Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has sought personal intervention of the External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj to make efforts to rescue and bring back Punjabi youth who had reportedly drowned near Panama. <br/><br/>In a letter to External Affairs Minister, Mr. Badal said that the Government of India should make immediate efforts through the governments of concerned countries and Indian Missions in Colombia and Panama so that these boys could be rescued and brought back to India.
