<span style="color: #222222;">In view of rising threat to children in the feared third wave of Corona, Palghar District administration of Maharashtra has set up a task force to specifically look after the welfare of corona affected children in the district. The task force under the chairmanship of District Collector has been formed for the care and protection of children in the district who have been either directly or indirectly affected by the Corona pandemic. The Task Force would provide benefits under the Child Care Scheme to children who have lost both parents or one earning parent due to Corona. The District Collector has appealed to the needy to take advantage of the scheme by contacting Child Line 1098. The district collector also suggested that an independent medical team should be appointed to provide immediate treatment to the children in the district and all the staff should be pre- vaccinated. All hospitals have also been instructed to fill in the information  on who would take care of a child hospitalized due to Corona.</span><br />
