Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has welcomed the remarks of U.S. President Barack Obama in UN general assembly regarding the two-state solution and the freeze of settlement activities as well his great hope of the establishment of the Palestinian state to be new full member of the UN.According to official Palestinian news agency WAFA, President Abbas affirmed his full readiness to achieve just and permanent solution of the Palestinian- Israeli conflict, as well his readiness to cooperate with the American efforts to make of the peace process a success. US President Barak Obama in his speech in UN called on Israel to extend its moratorium on settlement building and urged Arab states to support the Palestinians within the framework of the peace talks and move toward normalizing relations with Israel. He also suggested to the UN General Assembly that when it meets next year, it may be welcoming the Palestinian State as a new member.
