Palestinian President, Mehmood Abbas, is expected to hold urgent consultations in Cairo tomorrow with the Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak , in the wake of the US decision to abandon efforts to persude Israel to renew West Bank settlement moratorium. Palestinian officials say, Mr. Abbas has also requested an emergency meeting of Arab League Foreign Ministers to discuss repercussions of that move.Meanwhile, the US is sending Middle East envoy, George Mitchell back to the region next week in an effort to advance talks between Israel and Palestinians.
