Pak's suspension of talks with India betrayal of peace process: Cong

Congress has said Pakistan's unilateral suspension of talks with India is a clear betrayal of peace process and its commitment to resolve all bilateral issues through peaceful negotiation. <br/><br/>In a statement, party spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala alleged that Narendra Modi government's policy on Pakistan has allowed Islamabad to set the agenda in the dialogue process. <br/><br/>He alleged it is tragic that efforts of previous Congress government in isolating Pakistan internationally as epicenter of terror has been undone. <br/><br/>Mr Surjewala claimed that in last two years, the neighbouring country has been able to reposition itself from being a pariah in the global system to being a pivot for regional stability. He also said Indian government is permitting Pakistan to put Kashmir back on Centre stage.
