In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir,  Pakistani troops violated ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir's Kupwara district by firing mortar shells at Indian positions.<br />'' <br />'' Official sources said Pakistan initiated an unprovoked ceasefire violation along the LoC in Machil sector by firing mortars and other weapons in the afternoon today.<br />'' <br />'' The Indian Army gave a befitting response to the ceasefire violation.<br />'' <br />'' There were no casualties reported in the incident when the reports last came in.<br />''
