Pakistani troops opened heavy firing near LoC in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. An army officer of 16 Corps said told reporters that Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire. They fired with medium machine guns (MMGs) and small arms along with rocket-propelled grenades on Indian forward posts in Krishna Gati sub-sector in Poonch district yesterday. He said there was no loss of life or injury to anyone in the firing. Earlier, Pakistani troops violated ceasefire on May 15 and 14 by firing on Border Out Posts (BOPS) of Nikowal and Bhudwar in Jammu sector and on May 5 along the LoC in Poonch sector.
