Pakistani troops fire at Indian border outpost

<br/>Pakistani troops fired at a forward border outpost along the international border in Jammu in the wee hours on Monday drawing retaliation from BSF troops. An IED explosion also took place along the border line. <br/> <br/>Official sources said, violating the ceasefire yet again, there was a cross-border firing from Pakistan's Suragpur post on Abdullia border outpost along the international border in R S Pura sub-sector. <br/> <br/>BSF jawans guarding the BOP and patrolling party took positions and retaliated, resulting in exchange of small arms fire and it continued for nearly one-and-half hour intermittently. There was no lose of life or injury to anyone in the explosion and firing on this side of the border. It was not immediately known whether the explosion was carried out by any intruding militant or anybody else. <br/> <br/>Massive search operation has been launched in the area. On Sunday, Pakistani troops helped violated the seven-year-old ceasefire on the Line of Control, firing at Indian positions at Machhil sector in Jammu and Kashmir killing two porters and injuring two jawans. The firing comes just four days ahead of Home Minister P Chidambaram's visit to Pakistan.<br/>
