Pakistani troops captured 46 militants during operations in the country’s restive northwest and repulsed an attack on a post in the troubled Waziristan tribal region bordering Afghanistan. Authorities said today that security forces apprehended 15 militants during search and clearance operations in Swat.<br/><br/>Another 26 suspects were captured near Fatehpur and Mingora, the main city in the valley. Five militants also surrendered to security forces in Swat, the military said.<br/>
