Pakistani baby gets medical visa for India after father seeks intervention from Sushma Swaraj

India has issued a medical visa to a two-and-a-half-month-old baby from Pakistan after his father sought intervention of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.<br/><br/>Swaraj's intervention came after the infant's father Ken Sid, a Pakistani national, reached out to her through the social media platform for a medical visa for his son who is suffering from a heart disease.<br/><br/>A PTI report says, an official at the Indian High Commission informed that a four-month medical visa has been issued to the family so that the boy could undergo heart surgery in India.<br/><br/>Earlier infant's father, in a tweet said, his son has a heart complication which cannot be treated in Pakistan and requested Ms Swaraj to intervene into the matter. On humanitarian ground, External Affairs Minister assured the Pakistani national of all possible help.
