In Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan forces once again resorted to major ceasefire violations in the Mendhar and Krishna Ghati Sectors of Poonch district this morning. The forces across the Line of Control (LoC) started unprovoked firing targeting Indian forward posts in Krishna Ghati sector around 5:30 am.

Later the Pakistan forces also opened fronts in Balnoi and Mankote area of the Mendher sector around 8 am. This is the tenth incidence of ceasefire violation by Pakistan along the LoC and IB in Jammu region since 1st of this month.
