Pakistani army violated ceasefire in Shahpur sector of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir today. Locals said Pakistani army first opened fire with small weapons and later used mortar shells on Indian forward posts and civilian areas in Shahpur sector. The soldiers manning the fence responded strongly with equal caliber. Defence PRO said that at around 12.20 PM Pakistani Army Violated ceasefire forcing the army to retaliate. He said, Indian Army is retaliating and giving a befitting reply to the enemy. Exchange of fire continued till the reports last came in.<br />''  <br />
