Pakistan violates ceasefire in J&K; one jawan injured

In Jammu and Kashmir, an Army jawan was injured as Pakistani troops today violated the ceasefire by firing on forward posts along the Line of Control in Poonch district. According to Defence sources, Pakistani troops resorted to unprovoked firing in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district around 0745 hours this morning which left a jawan injured.<br/><br/>In another ceasefire violation, Pakistani troops targeted forward posts along the LoC in Hamirpur sector in the same Poonch district around 10 pm last night. Indian army retaliated the firing and exchange of fire lasted for half an hour. The condition of injured jawan who has been hospitalised is said to be stable. In the State, today's was the seventh incidence of ceasefire violation by Pakistan in last five days along the LoC and International Border.
