Pakistan violates ceasefire along LoC in J&K's Poonch

<span style="color: #222222;">In yet another ceasefire violation, PaK Army troops initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing with small arms and heavy mortar shelling along the LoC in Mendhar sector of district Poonch in the evening today for the second time in a day. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">PRO defence, Colonel Davinder Anand has said PaK Army troops initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation and the Indian Army troops, guarding the fence are retaliating befittingly.  The exchange of fire continued till reports last came in. More details are awaited.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Earlier in the day, PaK army troops violated ceasefire by initiating unprovoked and indiscriminate firing and heavy mortar shelling along the LoC in Balakote sector of Poonch district at about 1130 hours. The Indian Army retaliated befittingly with equal caliber to silence the guns of the PaK troops.</span><br />''

He said, Pak army initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing with small arms and thereafter heavy Mortar shelling along LoC in Balakote sector. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Alert Indian Army troops guarding the fence are retaliating befittingly with equal caliber. The exchange of fire continued till reports last came in. There are no reports of damage to any property or loss of any life from our side so far.</span><br />''

Pakistan violates ceasefire along LoC in J&K's Poonch

In Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan Army today lobbed mortars at forward posts along the Line of Control in Gulpur Sector of Poonch district in yet another incident of ceasefire violation.<br />''<br />''According to the officials, two Army porters were killed and three others severely injured in this incident. Five porters were working along the LoC at about 1100 hours when Pak Army initiated unprovoked mortar shelling and a shell hit them directly. The injured porters have been hospitalized and efforts are on to recover the bodies of the two porters.<br />''<br />''<br />''<br />''<br />
