Pakistan resorts to firing along International Border in Sambha sector in Jammu

In Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan yet again violated ceasefire today. Pakistan troops targeted Indian Border Out Posts (BoPs) along the International Border (IB) at three places in Kathua, Samba and Jammu districts.

Pakistan targeted Indian border-out-posts Chandwam and Pansar in Hiranagar sector of district Kathua. Pakistan started firing using small and automatic weapons at 8:30 am which lasted for over half an hour.

Later, Pakistani troops targeted Indian border-out-posts Narinpur in Ramgarh sector of district Samba and another border-out-post Tent Guard in Arnia Sub-Sector of Jammu districts.

In these areas firing was continuing intermittently when reports last came in. BSF guarding Indian borders however maintained utmost restraint and did not retaliate. No loss of life or property was reported on Indian side.
