The Pakistani Marine Security Agency has released nine fishermen, who were detained for straying in international waters. The move of the agency came as a surprise to the fishermen as they were detained three days ago and were released on Wednesday night. The release of these fishermen comes in the wake of Pakistan Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani deciding to release 100 out of the 631 Indian fishermen languishing in the Pakistani jails since December 26 last.
