Pakistan Rangers fire indiscriminately at an Indian border out post in Samba district in J&K today

In Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan Rangers fired indiscriminately at an Indian border out post in Samba district in the wee hours today. According to Deputy Inspector General, BSF, G Oberoi, there was heavy firing and attacks of Rocket Projectile Grenades on Ballard post along the International Border in Samba sector around 0430 hours. He said BSF troops retaliated in turn and this resulted in a fierce exchange of fire between the two sides which continued till 0530 hours. However, there was no loss of life or damage to property in the incident.This was the third ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops this month.
