Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi held a National Security Council (NSC) meeting in Islamabad yesterday. The move comes after US President Donald Trump strongly rebuked Pakistan accusing it of giving nothing to the US but lies and deceit and sheltering terrorists in return for 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years. <br/><br/>The NSC meeting, attended by the powerful military chief and other top senior military and government officials expressed disappointment over Mr Trump's remarks against Pakistan. <br/>'Pakistan's Ambassador to the US Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry also<br/>attended the NSC meeting. The NSC was initially scheduled for today but was held a day earlier to come up with a response to the accusations of Mr Trump.
