Afghan government has said that the killing of Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan near a military academy shows the double game policy Pakistan has been playing in the region. Defence Ministry spokesman Mr. Zahir Azimi said today it is questionable that Osama lived there without the knowledge of Pakistani intelligence. Addressing a press conference in Kabul, Mr. Azimi said if he was living there without the knowledge of ISI, then it should be questioned how they will be able to guard their strategic assets and prevent their nuclear weapons from falling into the hands of terrorists. The spokesman said, the incident has brought more questions to the fore which needs to be answered. He said, Al-Qaeda must be planning of reprisal attacks in wake of Osama’s death and asserted that they are ready to counter that. Earlier, Afghan President Mr. Hamid Karzai said that killing of Osama in Pakistan shows that war against terrorism should not be fought in villages of Afghanistan; rather terrorist safe havens should be targeted.
