Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar has said, Pakistan needs to shut down its terrorism factory as it has become a matter of international concern now. <br/><br/>Speaking at a function in Mumbai today, he said, earlier India was concerned about the problem of terrorism but now it has got an international concern. Mr Jaishankar said, the main issue is that whether Pakistan was willing to take fundamental steps to curb terrorism. <br/><br/>Visualizing a greater role for India on international scene, he said time has come for the country to take a lead on global stage, since the major countries are narrowing down. <br/><br/>Speaking on ties with China, Mr Jaishankar admitted that there is a need to invest more to manage the relationship better. He also cautioned against demonizing US President Donald Trump. He further added that Mr Trump represented a thought process and his decision was not a momentary expression.<br/><br/>Mr Jaishankar was speaking during a discussion on Political change and economic uncertainties at the Gateway Dialogue event. The event was co-hosted by Ministry of External Affairs.
