Pakistan needs to develop as secular state: Army Chief Bipin Rawat

<span style="color: #222222;">Chief of Army Staff General Bipin Rawat has said that "Pakistan has made its state an Islamic State. If they have to stay together with India, then they have to develop as a secular state. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">If they're willing to become secular like us, then they seem to have an opportunity." He was speaking with media persons after reviewing the passing out parade of 135th course of the National Defence Academy in Pune today.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Regarding Permanent Commission for women in Army General Rawat said that we are looking in to the matter. He said that in some fields like language interpreter and military diplomacy it will be beneficial if we give Permanent Commission to women cadets.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Spectacular passing out parade was conducted today morning.  It was a dream moment for the cadets and their relatives to participate and witness the amazing passing out parade of the National Defence Academy (NDA) which was reviewed by General Rawat.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">A total of 261 cadets graduated from the Academy as they passed through the portals of the prestigious Khetrapal Parade Ground. This included 186 cadets from the Army, 21 cadets from the Navy and 54 cadets from the Air Force.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">16 cadets from the friendly foreign countries also passed out from the Academy. The cadets are from Afghanistan, Bhutan, Kyrgyzstan, Lesotho, Tanzania, Tajikistan, Mauritius, Vietnam and Sri Lanka.</span><br />''
