Pakistan military today removed the Chief of the Paramilitary Rangers over the killing of an unarmed man in a public park. The brutal killing, which was filmed, had shocked the nation. Security forces shot dead Sarfaraz Shah, 22, in a Karachi park last week for alleged robbery. His family insisted that he was innocent. The removal comes in the wake of Supreme Court directive. The military in a statement said in compliance with Supreme Courts orders, Major General Aijaz Chaudhary, Director General Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) has been posted out.
