A Parliamentary panel has observed that after illegally occupying certain parts of Kashmir (PoK), Pakistan has been making attempts through terror funding and covert support to terrorists to destabilize the Kasmir Valley.<br/><br/>The Committee on External Affairs in its report tabled in Parliament today noted that Pakistan, through unsubstantiated and baseless allegations of violations of human rights in Kashmir Valley, has been trying to create a false narrative about the Indian State of Jammu and Kashmir. <br/><br/>The Committee headed by Dr. Shashi Tharoor is of the strong opinion that if Pakistan does not mend its ways, it is time for India to become assertive its rightful claims on PoK, including Gilgit-Baltistan. <br/><br/>It said this is all the more necessary now in view of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor which is being built through PoK in violation of India's sovereignty.
