Pakistan is likely to delay the target of granting India the Most Favoured Nation (MFN) status.Commerce Ministry officials said the country had announced in October 2011 that it would grant MFN status to India on January 1, 2013.The officials said that the federal cabinet had to grant final approval in this regard but no meeting of the cabinet is scheduled before starting of the new year which may lead to a delay.The ministry officials said that they had completed their ground work on the matter.
