Eighty-seven Indians, mostly fishermen were today handed over to India at the Wagah Border after being released from a Pak prison. The Indian nationals were freed from the Landhi Jail in Karachi yesterday.<br/><br/>A Pakistan Rangers official told reporters at the Wagah Border that all 87 Indians have been handed over to the Border Security Force after verifying their documents. PTI reports from Lahore, quoting a local media that 86 more Indian fishermen would be released on 20th of this month. <br/><br/>The report also said that there remains a total of 457 more Indians in the prison, and most of them are fishermen arrested allegedly for territorial violation. Fishermen are frequently arrested along with their boats by both India and Pakistan as the maritime border in the Arabian Sea is poorly defined.
