Pakistan frees 18 Indian fishermen

A day before Home Secretary level talks between India and Pakistan at Islamabad, the neighbouring country, as a goodwill gesture, has released 18 Indian fishermen on Wednesday.

They were in it’s jail for the last three to 18 months for inadvertently crossing over into Pak waters from Gujrat. All of them belong to Porbunder.

Jubilant after crossing over into Indian terrirotry via newly built Integrated Check Post at Attari in Amritsar, the fishermen were praying for better relations between both the neighbouring countries.
