Pakistan forces resumed heavy firing and shelling in RS Pura sector of J&K along international border

In Jammu and Kashmir, after two-days lull, Pakistan forces resumed heavy firing and shelling in RS Pura sector along the international border Saturday night. Defence sources said, Pakistan forces started unprovoked firing targeting forward posts and civilian areas in Arnia and Chakroi in RS Pura sector around 9 pm, which was retaliated by the troops of BSF guarding the international border. The exchange of fire is still continuing. Two persons were injured in Arnia area.

Earlier, in the afternoon, Pakistan had resorted to heavy firing targeting Indian forward posts and civilian areas in Kerni and Shahpur sub-sectors along the Line of Control in Poonch District, which was retaliated by the Army.
