Pakistan forces again violates ceasefire in J&K

In Jammu and Kashmir, in yet another incidence of ceasefire violation, Pakistani forces resorted to heavy shelling and firing along the Line of Control in Nowshera Sector of Rajouri district today. <br/><br/> According to Defence sources, Pakistani forces started unprovoked firing and shelling targeting Indian positions in Baba Khori area. Army troops guarding the borderline retaliated to the fire with similar calibre and gave befitting reply.<br/> <br/><br/>The intermittent exchange of fire lasted for two hours. No injury or damage has been, reported so far, from the Indian side.<br/><br/>Pakistani shelling along the International Border in Jamnu district yesterday left a BSF jawan and a child killed while as many as eight civilians and one BSF personnel injured. <br/><br/>The unprecedented increase in Pakistani shelling along the International border and LoC recently, has created panic among the border people and they have started shifting to safer places.

Pakistan forces again violates ceasefire in J&K

After a brief lull, Pakistan forces again violated the ceasefire by firing amd shelling heavily on forward posts on the Line of Control in Nowshera Sector of Rajouri district In Jammu and Kashmir today. <br/><br/>According to Defence sources, Pakistani forces violated truce and fired unprovoked this morning at around 1030 hours in Baba Khori area of Nowshera sector along the Line of Control. <br/><br/>Pakistan fired small arms and mortars at the forward posts. Army troops guarding the borderline, effectively retaliated to the fire with similar caliber and gave befitting reply. <br/><br/>The exchange of fire was continuing till reported last. No injury or damage has been reported so far from the Indian side.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, panic gripped the border area dwellers due to cross border firing and they have taken shelter in their houses. <br/><br/>Yesterday, on international border in RS Pura Sector of Jammu, a BSF jawan got martyred while a six-year-old child got killed in Kanhachak sector and over a dozen people wounded, around 50 cattle died as Pakistan shelled the border villages with small and heavy weapons.
