In Pakistan, strong tremors were felt in Gilgit city and its surrounding areas late last night. The Pakistan Meteorological Department said the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded as 4.7 on the Richter scale, adding that its depth was registered at 15 kilometres. <br/><br/><br/>The Department also said that the epi-centre was 37 kilometres southwest of Skardu.
