In Pakistan, a U.S. missile strike has killed at least six suspected militants in North Waziristan tribal region. Intelligence officials said a drone fired several missiles today at a house in the tribal region, just a few kilometers from the Afghan border. The United States has increased its missile strikes from unmanned aircraft against Taliban and al-Qaida-linked militants in Pakistan’s northwestern tribal area. There have been at least 40 such strikes in the region since September.
