Pakistan civil society members demand public apology from British Queen for killings of Indian freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru & Sukhdev

The civil society members and academics in Pakistan have demanded a public apology from the British Queen for the unjust killings of Indian freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev.<br/><br/>In an event organised on the 86th death anniversary of the three freedom fighters, Chairman of the Bhagat Singh Memorial Foundation, Imtiaz Qureshi said in Lahore that people like Bhagat Singh and his comrades were born in centuries and their great sacrifice would always be remembered. <br/><br/>In a resolution, the activists also urged the British Queen to tender apology to India and Pakistan as well as to the families of the freedom fighters. The event was organised at Lahore's Fawara Chowk yesterday, where the trio were hanged on March 23, 1931. Family members of Bhagat's family also delivered telephonic speeches from Canada and India.
