In Pakistan, at least six people have been killed and eight others injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan. <br/><br/>Initial reports suggested that the IED was fitted to a motorcycle and its target was a military vehicle carrying three civilian candidates for recruitment in the army. All the three candidates along with three other civilians were killed in the blast.
