The Pakistan army chief Gen Ashfaq Kayani met US defence chiefs in Washington ahead of a week-long strategic dialogue between the two countries. He held talks with Defence Secretary Robert Gates and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen. Earlier Gen Kayani met with the head of US Central Command General David Petraeus. The US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will meet Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi tomorrow.
