Pakistan has again violated ceasefire by targeting forward Indian posts along the Line of Control in Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Defense sources told AIR that Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked firing on forward Indian posts on Monday night in Krishna Ghati Sector of Poonch.

Sources said, Pakistan used small arms and automatic weapons while Indian troops retaliated with similar caliber weapons.

No damage to any property or casualty from this side has been reported till last reports came in.

This is the sixth incident of ceasefire violation in the past over two weeks along the LoC.
