In Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistani forces today again resorted to heavy mortar shelling along the Line of Control in Poonch district. Defence sources told AIR Jammu that the forces from across the Line of Control started unprovoked firing and shelling targeting Indian positions and civilian areas in Gulpur sector around 7am. <br/><br/>The troops guarding the borderline retaliated and gave a befitting reply to the Pakistani shelling. The intermittent exchange of fire was continuing when the last reports came in.<br/>There has been no report of any fresh casualty or injury from the Indian side so far.<br/> '<br/>Yesterday, an army Jawan and a defence porter were martyred while six defence personnel were injured in Pakistani shelling in the area.<br/> '<br/>In the wake of heavy mortar shelling all the schools in Gulpur sector have been closed till the next order.
