Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said that Pakistan will have to put an end to the ceasefire violations along the Line of Control soon.<br/><br/>Addressing a public rally at Nowshera in Rajouri district adjoining the Line of Control in Jammu region this afternoon, the Home Minister said, India has been becoming more and more stronger and the world's perspective towards India has changed a lot. <br/><br/>He said that though India is committed to peace with its neighbouring countries yet every misadventure at the borders will be given a befitting reply by the security forces. Mr Singh said, people living along the Line of Control have to bear the burnt of Pakistani firing and shelling time and again and Centre is committed to mitigate the problems of the border people. The Home Minister said that the youth from the border areas will be given reservation in recruitment in paramilitary forces.<br/>During his tour to Jammu region, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today visited the BSF Camps at Naushera and took stock of operational preparedness on the Line of Control. <br/><br/>ADG BSF Western Command Kamal Nayan Chaubey and IG BSF, Jammu Frontier Ram Awtar briefed the Union Home Minister on the prevailing security scenario and various measures undertaken by BSF to strengthen the border protection.<br/>The Home Minister also addressed the Prahari Sammellan held with BSF Officers and Jawans and applauded the force for its high alertness on the LoC and International Border.

MoS in PMO Dr Jitendra Singh and Member of Parliament from Jammu Poonch Jugal Kishore Sharma were also present on the occasion.<br/><br/>In the evening the Union Home Minister is scheduled to meet various delegations from cross section of the society in the winter capital city of Jammu.
