Pak WC team reaching Dhaka to participate in warm up matches

The Pakistan cricket team will be reaching Dhaka today evening to participate in the warm up matches scheduled to be played before the ICC Cricket world Cup 2011 beginning next week. The team led by Shahid Afridi is scheduled to have two practice sessions before they play their first warm up match against Bangladesh at the Sher-E-Bangla stadium at Mirpur on Tuesday. The team will also play a second warm up match against England at Fatullah on the outskirts of Dhaka on February 18th. Meanwhile Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasinareviewed the arrangements made for hosting the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 at a meeting of the National organizing committee held at her official residence Gano Bhaban last evening. The Prime Minister directed the authorities concerned to ensure proper security for the players and foreign guests and also take steps to facilitate a pleasant stay in Bangladesh for the visitors.
